The Academic Annual Conference of the Chinese Society of Nephrology is the most important academic event and exchange platform for showcasing the research achievements and latest advances in the prevention and treatment of kidney disease in China. This conference was the academic annual meeting in the series of events celebrating the 110th anniversary of the Chinese Medical Association. Through meticulous preparation, a comprehensive and multi-level academic exchange platform was built, designed to meet the needs of both domestic and international participants for learning, exchange, sharing, and collaboration.
The development of nephrology is inseparable from advances in science and technology. At this year's conference, many advanced technologies and devices for the diagnosis and treatment of kidney disease were showcased. Currently, the application rate of genetic testing technology in kidney disease diagnosis has reached approximately 30%, and the accuracy rate of AI-assisted diagnostic systems has exceeded 90%. The application of these new technologies presents both new opportunities and challenges for the development of nephrology.

The conference also emphasized the importance of prevention. The occurrence of kidney disease is closely related to lifestyle, environmental factors, and other elements. According to surveys, the risk of developing kidney disease is reduced by 30% to 40% among people who maintain a healthy lifestyle. Medical institutions should leverage their strengths, fulfill their medical responsibilities, strengthen health education, raise public health awareness, and advocate for healthy lifestyles. Jingkang TCM has spared no effort in this regard, carrying out science popularization and publicity through numerous public welfare activities and being invited to participate in local media and radio science popularization campaigns, disseminating health science knowledge to the public, deepening public understanding of common diseases and healthy lifestyle management approaches, and effectively preventing the occurrence of kidney disease.

Additionally, this conference introduced a new session for the presentation of excellent clinical cases from the Chinese Medical Association Case Database and a science popularization competition venue, aimed at improving the clinical reasoning ability and diagnostic and treatment skills of clinicians, as well as enhancing public awareness and attention to kidney disease prevention and kidney health maintenance.
The entire conference was filled with highlights, as academic ideas collided, sparking brilliant insights, marking the gradual unfolding of a new chapter in nephrology in the mountain city of Chongqing.
Learning through exchange and advancing through exploration, the conference provided healthcare professionals with a broad platform for academic exchange and presentation. The hospital will actively leverage the advantages of this platform, inherit and innovate, and achieve mastery through comprehensive study, applying more academic achievements to serve patients. The hospital will continuously enhance the level of integrated Chinese-Western medicine in kidney disease diagnosis and treatment, jointly advancing nephrology research to new heights, and contributing further to the realization of a "Healthy China."
