From July 26 to 27, the Second General Election Conference and the Sixth Academic Conference of the Nephrology Branch of the Shandong Provincial Research Hospital Association, organized by the Shandong Provincial Research Hospital Association and its Nephrology Branch and hosted by Qilu Hospital of Shandong University, was successfully held in Jinan. Prominent experts in clinical nephrology and basic research attended the conference, including Professor Hu Zhao, leader of the National Regional Medical Center's Key Clinical Nephrology Discipline at Qilu Hospital of Shandong University; Professor Chen Jianghua, Director of the Kidney Disease Center of the First Affiliated Hospital of Zhejiang University and the 11th Chair of the Nephrology Branch of the Chinese Medical Association; Professor Wang Xingbu, Secretary-General of the Shandong Provincial Research Hospital Association; Professor Xie Jingyuan, Director of the Kidney Research Institute of Shanghai Jiao Tong University School of Medicine and Director of the Department of Nephrology at Shanghai Ruijin Hospital; Professor Hu Weixin, Deputy Director of the National Clinical Research Center for Kidney Diseases at the General Hospital of the Eastern Theater Command; and Professor Chen Limeng, Director of the Department of Nephrology at Peking Union Medical College Hospital of the Chinese Academy of Medical Sciences. The branch election meeting selected and elected the members of the Second Committee. Professor Hu Zhao was elected Chairman of the Nephrology Branch of the Shandong Provincial Research Hospital Association, and President Zhang Xin'an of our hospital was appointed as a committee member of the Nephrology Branch.
