As a Standing Committee Member of the Nephropathy Chinese Herbal Medicine Development Research Committee of the China Association of Traditional Chinese Medicine, President Wang Tiemin has been invited to attend academic conferences on multiple occasions over the years, making positive contributions to the exploration and practice of integrated Chinese-Western medicine in the prevention and treatment of kidney disease. At this academic conference, President Wang Tiemin presided over the thematic symposium on "Interpreting the Scientific Connotation of Classical TCM Theories through Modern Medicine," jointly exploring the development and application of classical TCM theories with experts and scholars in the field.

Throughout his more than 30 years of clinical practice, President Wang Tiemin has always stayed close to the clinical front, adhering to the integrated Chinese-Western medical approach of combining syndrome differentiation with disease differentiation — inheriting without being constrained by tradition, and promoting without deviating from the fundamentals. Inspired by the Qing Dynasty medical treatise "Li Yue Pian Wen" which states that "the principles of external treatment are the same as those of internal treatment, and the medicines for external treatment are the same as those for internal treatment; the only difference lies in the method," he developed the "Meridian Kidney-Protection Therapy Device," successfully overcoming the bottleneck of oral medications for kidney disease increasing the burden on the kidneys. This invention has been granted national science and technology invention patents and utility model patents, supporting the inheritance and innovative development of Traditional Chinese Medicine in clinical practice.

During the conference, the Second Third Plenary Meeting of the Nephropathy Chinese Herbal Medicine Development Research Committee of the China Association of Traditional Chinese Medicine was also held. This conference was an unprecedented grand event, where experts, directors of Jingkang TCM, and experts, scholars, and corporate representatives in Chinese and Western medicine from across the country gathered together to participate in multiple thematic academic sessions, sharing and exchanging ideas in a harmonious atmosphere, with cutting-edge wisdom continuously emerging.

Focusing on nephropathy through Chinese-Western integration — Qingdao Jingkang TCM Nephrology Hospital has always been committed to high-quality development, adhering to academic leadership, fully leveraging the distinctive advantages of Traditional Chinese Medicine, and continuously strengthening the construction of nephrology disciplines. Through continuous innovation and development in clinical practice, the hospital steadily advances the level of diagnosis and treatment technology, safeguarding the health of the people.
